Has anyone used Endurox R4? Does it do anything? How does it taste?

I used it. It's expensive. It tastes awful (orange is better than the berry). It supposedly does help with recovery. However, a doctor from the Mayo Clinic who researches endurance athletes (and was a decent runner) told me to save my pennies and drink skim milk as a recovery drink. Just about the perfect carb/protein ratio. So, if you have no lactose intolerance issues (a lot of people do and don't realize it), skip the Endurox.
It works for many, not for others. You need to experiment with various products to find what works for you. But the science behind it is good, it does in fact "work".
As for taste, it doesn't taste bad enough to discourage use, but few would drink it for the taste. Just like "you shouldn't choose your running shoes by the color", you shouldn't choose your nutrition products by the taste.
milk (especially chocolate... more simple sugars to get to muscles quicker) is also good for some people, but you need to finish your workout at a fridge for that. That might work for some, but for many that isn't an option most times.
I use it and there is a noticeable improvement in recovery. I wouldn't say it is huge, but significant enough that I shell out $50 a month for the stuff.
if you are running long/hard enough, any liquid will taste good
endurox is magical
Chocolate milk is supposedly the best post workout drink you can have to aid in recovery.
