if somebody wanted to become a millionaire all they would have to do is invent running shorts with a spandex under thingie
Those types of shorts exist. Nike, Adidas, Asics, New Balance all make them. They are pretty common actually.

Use corn oil or canola oil. Might stain your shorts though.

I've never used any of these products in my life. Do all runners chaff, or only some? I've run up to 15 miles. I could see maybe marathon distance, but it sounds like it happens more frequently at shorter distances for many folks
