I do all my running in the XC and it appears they are no longer available.
Can anyone suggest an alternate shoe? I've tried the Katanas, but the outsole wears out too fast.

Marathoner - not quite the same, slightly beefier, more heel counter.
The shoe is still available. Through the end of this year, if not longer.
the new nike lunar lite victory
its 5 oz has flywire and feels absolutely amazing
honestly it feels like your foot is floating atop a very supportive and responsive sole
and the flywire holds/supports your foot so much better than the previous nike mesh and stuff
lunar racer*
my bad not the victory
what is breathability like in the lunar and victory? Is the upper similar to that of the mayfly (however add in the flywire)?
i am in the same boat as you - do all my running in the Zoom Streak XC's (even long run up to 20 miles so far) and am even wearing olds pairs because they are better than anything else i have tried....so please if you find a good replacement email me to let me know what you found...or if you find any deals on where you can purchase the XC's as they get phased out. thank you
The Zoom Streak XC is going for about $65 at Eastbay.

I normally buy from Eastbay, but they haven't had my size (9) for several months, and it appears they have even fewer sizes all the time. I take that as meaning the shoe is discontinued.
You will thank me for this:
runningwarehouse.com just got the streaks in stock and the have free 2 day shipping.
They're not being replaced for at least another 3 quarters.
I might have a size 9 in my store. If not I can get one in a week. Nike has plenty, I just checked.

phelps, Thanks for the tip. Guess I should have looked around more. I assume runningwarehouse.com is reputable.? I'll probably buy a couple pairs to stock up.
