How many of you feel that you do certain distances because you WANT to, but really, you are better equipped physically for other distances?
As an example: I have loved doing the 800m/1500m for decades, but I'm convinced that I am more suited to 10k to Marathon.
So the mind directs one thing while the body type would be more suited to another?
Perhaps the opposite is true too: Some people do what they are physically eqipped to do, but they would rather try other distances.
Who is happier?
I think this phenominon could be wide spread, as most "road runners" do 10k to marathon, because that is what is widely popular. I wonder how many of them would excel at 400m instead?
Discuss, using at least two sides of the paper, with examples.
