Down in Tallahassee for NCAA Regionals - where is the best place for a long run? Any good, long trails, good for 14-20 miles?

Don't know about trails, I've been on biz in Tally a couple of times and they have water fountains along Blair Stone Road that makes it convenient to run on.
Haaaa, you're dreaming. That place is a dump. Good luck with finding 2 miles of trails.
Alfred Greenway is great for a hilly run on grass, Maclay park and Forest Meadows are also good to mix it up. There are some great dirt roads outside the town, im not sure where exactly they are but the fsu team uses them and you can easily run 20 miles without going over your tracks

2miles? There are probably 100+ miles of trails and dirt roads. The list on the gulfwinds website is a good resource.
Best options this time of year are Caddilac Trail (starting at back of Tom Brown Park). That is a 4m trail that connects to Alford Greenway (another 7m of trails and cross country style grass). Completely shaded in Tom Brown and shaded for half of Alford.
Miccosukke Greenway is a good option with a 7m end to end trail (14m round trip). Mostly shaded.
Maclay area offers Lake Overstreet Trails(5m loop) on one side of the road and Phipps Park(7m) on the other side. Completely shaded on Overstreet side. Mostly shaded on Phipps side.
In my opinion, best long run option is to park at Tom Brown park and run the 4m Caddilac trail to Alford Green. Run around Alford Green and back on the 4m trail.
Again, keep dreaming Alice. Been to most of these places and they are not much, but it's good for morale.
The best question is where are the good bars at.

Where you expecting roads paved of gold?
Do yourself a favor and go to Potbelly's for happy hour on Friday. Some of the best looking girls in the country. I went to UGA but loved visiting friends at FSU just for the girls at Potbelly's on Friday afternoon.
I ran at Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park today. one big loop was prob 30' or so. good amount of shade also.
off of N Meridian Rd (155)
I will prob hit it up again Sunday morning. Our flight doesnt leave until late.
The trails here are awesome; everything the knowledgeable people above have said is true. No one has yet mentioned how incredibly hot it is, so set out more water than you're used to.
As a bonus, the Miccosukee Greenway has a shower and water fountain right next to the parking lot.

There have been 10+ Olympians and several professional groups that trained in Tallahassee within the last 2 years so it can't be that bad! One multiple-time Olympian told me this winter that Tallahassee was his favorite place to train in the US.
I wouldn't blame someone for complaining about the weather this time of year, but you cannot legitimately complain about the trail situation.
BREAKING: Athing Mu running 800m in Gainesville on Friday at Holloway Pro Classic
Jakob chugs almost an entire 32-oz sports drink in 6 seconds during interview
Can we talk about how crazy hard this Olympic marathon course is?
