So I saw the thing about Adam Nelson getting hypnotized to somehow better his chances of winning in the olympics. I can see how it would help a thrower but I can see how it might help a distance runner. My question is, if your biggest problem is beleiving in yourself and your training, would hypnotism work? I am not saying that your gonna just become the next olympian or anything if you just average. But what if your main problem is mental toughness and believing in yourself when you race, would hypnotism work for this situation? I have heard that hypnotism doesnt really work on people who dont believe in it. I just want to your thoughts on this.
