After reading a few books I came to this conclusion. Don't get me wrong, each man has brought something to the sport, and I am in no way trying to take anything away from any of them, but they all say the same thing (in their books).
Aerobic conditioning = E pace = easy runs = etc
Anaerobic conditioning = T pace = Lactate threshold = etc
Aerobic capacity = I pace = VO2 max = etc
Anaerobic capacity = R pace = speed = etc
There's only very small differences in their opinions on interval duration and rest duration. The biggest differences come from what type of training they emphasize and how they word their books; the actual training paces are all the same.
It always frustrates me when people say they're having a tough time figuring out Martin/Coe after reading Daniels (just an example). Try looking for some common themes. It's really not that hard.
