Ok here is the deal for some reason I get hurt running doubles quite often. I have pretty decent talent and very good work ethic. I run around 90-105 miles a week in the past doing as many as 5 double days a week. PR of 1:08 for half marathon would probably be most best mark as of now.
I usually get into shape to where I'm shooting for 1:05 half and a fast Marathon but then a injury will end my training early. Most times I make it about 12-15 weeks into training before injury. But I have a cycle of run 12-15 then being out anywhere from 4-12 weeks with various injuries.
I'm making the choice to go straight singles with my training and was looking for some success stories out there of runners running best off singles(mostly due to being more consistent with training) compared to doubles and training for longer events?
I'm really new to learning about training myself, so any help I would appreciate!
