7:38 4x800 for North Penn HS - just 2 seconds outside national record
The girl seems to be learning. That's better than those 50.7 / 72.4 splits that she has been running.
check your record book.... the record is in the 7:33-34 area. Great effort though..... hope they are at NON where it may take 7:35 to win.

Sounds about right for CP!
It's 2 seconds off the Federation record, but a bit from the all-time record. Still impressive to average 1:54.7 per leg.

With respect to NON, North Penn already had the US #1 time prior to today. Who, in your estimation, will push them to 7:35 or lower (hopefully)?
In what meet did she split 50.7????? That never happened. I would like to see her go out in 58 and see what happens. She can definitely go sub 2. She has run low 53 in the open 400.
Well, they won't have to run in trials of the 4x8 and the open 800 the day before, so hopefully that would translate to another .5 second or more each leg. There's also a team in Ohio, Cleveland Heights which could run pretty fast and maybe one or two other schools that could provide some extra competition.
