Axl, your suspicions are certainly with merit. However, I'd like to bring something up here. We, as a public are holding these athletes to a higher standard than other professions, and it's not fair. For instance, I went through a several month stretch where I was strung out on amphetamines and doing nothing but playing my guitar in my room, for nearly 12+ hours. That is training at an intensity level I could not have achieved without those supplements. Many of those players who inspired me, Hendrix, Clapton, etc. did their fair share of supplements as well. Those that live long enough, like Clapton, generally get out of that phase and see how damaging that lifestyle can be (wake up regina!), but nonetheless it was their life experience and they are the rest of the world are better because of it. Although I do wish Jimmy was still playing, he died while just a boy in blues terms, he'd be nasty as all hell if he were performing today.
