So there is a junior olympic qualifier 5km, I really want to do on June 21. I've been running base already for about 2-3 months. Would running this 5km and maybe a 1500m on the same day screw up my xc seasoN? I plan to train through this meet also. I will prolly take 2 days easy after the meet just in case overtraining becomes an issue.
People that have had experience running races during the summer before xc, how has the raceing affected your season?
