After reading through vcxc's thread, I was just wondering, what else could be a cause of extreme fatigue and heavy/dead legs, other than low iron levels or overtraining?
For the past 3 1/2 weeks I haven't felt good once on any of my runs. I have a hard time warming up at 8:00-8:30 pace. My legs feel like lead weights and are extremely tired all the time.
I used to be able to keep up easily with my team on easy distance runs, however, I get dropped immediately by everyone on my team now. Guys I routinely would beat in races are ahead of me in both easy runs and workouts. I am constantly tired and have a complete lack of energy when it comes to running.
I haven't had my blood tested yet, but I think I am going to set up an appointment soon. I just wanted to know what other possibilities there may be besides anaemia and overtraining.
