I have heard his name tossed around and I tried to use the search to find out the principles of his training, but I didn't have much luck. Can I get a quick link to his training advice/philosophy and not get flamed too much?
Thanks

No flames, just facts! Enjoy.
Hadd's philosophy? Run slowly.
"Hadd's philosophy? Run slowly."
Not true. Read it again.
OK, run slowly for a long time. Later run fast.
The links provided for you should prove very beneficial.
I've followed Hadd's concepts for sometime and went from a 1:35:45 1/2marathon with a taper to 1:25:10 without tapering, just training through for some races later on this fall.
I've got a 1/2 planned for the end of Nov. and am hoping to be in the 1:19:00-1:21:00 range.
Good luck to you and your training.
Hey RunforSon, shoot me an e-mail, I have some other Hadd-like training info, you may be interested in.
Yawn!
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
