So, i am wondering, assuming you are from out of town, if you have to stay at school after your finals, does your school help cover the cost of staying in town?
Do they give you a free room?
free food?
per diems?
What level are you too, d1 d2 naia d3?
i am a freshmen, but as far as i know our school will give us the room for free, i don't know about the food though. i hope they give us that too. are there rules stating what has to be given to athletes? kind of an interesting question.
If you are D1 and you are still competing for the school they will pick up the tab...at least in most schools
You might have to move out of your room and into another dorm that is open at that time.
There is usually a summer athletes dorm that is open when the rest of the school is not.
I not only competed for my school but I work in the housing office. From what I could tell by contacting other schools was they had similar arrangements.
If I remember correctly my school would give us like 15 bucks a day for food....Nothing special but you could live off of it.
Now if you just want to stay because you don't feel like going home then the answer is no they will not pick up the tab
