Its expensive snake oil. No credible science supports it.
ya thats why im asking about it because it is so expensive and i dont no if its worth it or not
i like the recovery it provides me. I'm over 35, and any little bit helps.
Save your money and invest in an education first, so that you may learn proper spelling and grammar.
I use it after every hard workout. Yeah it's expensive, but I think it is worth it.
Endurox...I f***ing shower in that shit.
I used the pills ("excel")
worked incredible, you really don't get sore.
I enjoy the pain, because I'm a RUNNER, so I don't use them anymore

If Chocolate Milk has D3 in it then it can't be that good.
endourox is the shit...i don't travel anywhere without it...it allows you to do three hard workouts a week and not really be effected by it...i always take it the day before a race and my legs feel great the next day. Since I started taking endourox this year i have become a much better runner...not saying that its all due to endourox but because it doesn't leave me sore as hell after a workout
Thank you for posting this. I'm so sick of people saying chocolate milk has the same ingredients or is better for you than some of the recovery drinks out there. One freakin study comes out saying chocolate milk is good and everyone jumps on the bandwagon.
I'm not saying chocolate milk is bad for you, but the recovery drinks do a better job.
And please, for the nerds out there, no need to post more than one study, I'm sure you can dig them up.
I should clarify: Chocolate milk works well as a recovery drink and better than some of the "claimed" recovery drink. I'm not throwing a blanket out saying ALL recovery drinks are better than chocolate milk.
I am pissed because there are people that say c. milk is better than all the recovery drinks. I believe Endurox does a better job, and I'm currently studying Hammer Recoverite. I don't believe the Cytomax recovery drink is that great as it has 18 grams of fat and 8 of that is saturated. Accelerade has a 4:1 carb/protein ratio and I think that is the same or a little better than chocolate milk. I'm sure someone can/will correct me!

Trust me, the only band wagon they are jumping on is the fact chocolate milk is cheaper. The science means nothing.
If you made up a study saying saying pigeon jizz performed better than Endurox, people on letsrun would be saying "Dude, Endurox and chocolate milk is for yuppies dude. Blow a pigeon and you save 3 cents per serving a day and the feathers taste good after the first 50........dude."
POD.
I'll give you that! I just got a new job and a decent income so I've forgotten what it's like to be dirt poor. How soon I forget!
For the dollar, chocolate milk is the best recovery drink! No disputes, you got me.
By the way, what happens if you're lactose intolerant?
The best thing you can do is find a scientific study that supports that it works. I know its tough, but try to stay away from any information backed by Endurox because of course they will say the results are positive, they are making money off of it (a sh*t load of money that is)..
The only thing you will get on this message board is more or less "well it worked for me, so its great!!"
I think it's one of those things where if you honestly believe it helps with recovery, then maybe you will 'feel better' after drinking it, even though there really are no physiological benefits. The main problem is it just costs so damn much, and my personal opinion is you can get just as good or better recovery with cheaper recovery drinks such as gatorade or choc milk...
To my knowledge, there are four things that have been repeatedly proven to help you recover after a run or workout:
1) water
2) electrolytes
3) carbohydrates
4) protein
Get all four and you're good to go. Anything else is questionable. Accelerade has done some studies on the ratio of carbs to protein, but I haven't really looked into that. IMO, does the ratio REALLY matter if you're going to go grab dinner in an hour anyways?

It's recently come to light that the current economic crisis was caused not by bad mortgages and bad derivative bets, but the cost of Endurox.
The cost of Endurox is likely to be a big issue in the election this fall. I mean, Endurox cost more than the upkeep on a Ferrari!
