Any thoughts on these courses? Looking to maximize PR chances in late Jan/early Feb -- heard Mercedes was retooled to extract the big-ass hill.

hello? Bueller. Bueller.
They have smoothed out the mercedes course quite a bit. there will still be a couple of hills. the web site should have a course profile. as a birmingham resident, however, there are still some hills. not too sure about motorola.
Austin is a PR machine.
they've changed the course up some this year. don't know how yet, supposed to be a map out soon, supposedly only 1/2 mile or so is different, but, again, don't know where that will be in the course. gotta hope for better weather than last year.
Austin is faster
Moto is faster. 400 ft. net drop.
But you can watch the trials if you run Mercedes.
Going with Moto -- ran the last 15 of the "new" Mercedes course yesterday....No thanks. The hills were not removed -- skirted, maybe. But not removed. Will be there to spectate on Saturday for the trials, but looking forward to Austin and some post-race Shiner Bock!!
then you better get ready for the post-race shiner bock shits. what swill that stuff is anymore.
I thought the Armadillos loved Birmingham. You must not be a true Mt. Brook Armadillo.
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
