Thomas Frazer (140) is an Irish runner who went to Butler and lives in the US.
From the 2006 L.A. marathon.
"Carlos Carballo of Berkley, Calif., finished 13th overall to lead the U.S. men running 2:19:12 to earn a total of $7,500, including a $1000 bonus for running the "A" qualifying standard for the Olympic Trials.
Steve Moreno also ran the "A" standard, running 2:19:30 for 14th. Chris Banks and John Lucas finished 16th and 17th running "B" standards of 2:21:44 and 2:21:53, respectively."

In your list you have non-US citizens, and you've left out Americans who have competed overseas and should be on your list.
Your research is worthless.
Those of 2006 results. The list is 2007.
The to list maker, awesome work.
I don't see Art Siemers in any of these results..
Thanks for putting this up wejo.
An explanation, since I put the list together:
1) The cutoff for inclusion was 2:45 for men and 3:15 for women. I included some chip times (mostly women) since some marathons only listed chip times, like NYC, so that made it somewhat fair.
2) I tried to exclude foreigners, but I don't know everyone and Google only told me so much. Some were obvious, such as Kenyan sounding guys from Albuquerque and Russian women from Gainesville, FL. Many are not as obvious. And the Yonkers marathon had too many for me research.
3) If someone points out the foreigners, I will exclude them from the list.
4) I could have missed Americans who ran foreign marathons, since I mainly used the results from marathonguide.com. If you know of someone who did this, I will include them in the list. But I want something more than 'my buddy ran a marathon in Italy is 2:40-something.' Including a link to results will be appreciated.
Mcgato:
Thanks for compiling this and making it available to us. Please ignore the critics (at least the disrespectful ones) and know that they are not representative of the many marathoners who appreciate your efforts.
Wow... this is a great list.
Also, some awesome names in there. Michael Sandercock? Hahaha. And apparently Michael Vick is also a 2:22 marathoner... what an athlete!
You missed all the runners from the NAIA National Marathon from the Outdoor National Meet in Fresno last May. I'm not 100% sure but I think the guy who won it is not an American citizen.

Missed every runner from the portland marathon. Results at

for the men.
I'd like to see a similar list for U.S. Masters, especially so I can set a target time for this year's "Top 100" list...
I didn't include ages in the file I sent wejo, but I have a lot of them in my file. Unfortunately, a lot of results don't include ages, and I'm not going to spend any time looking for them. If I send an updated file, I'll include the ages. So far only a few corrections though, so it may be a while before I update it.
Props on the list, very cool. I can't wait untill the NAIA times are included so atleast I can smile about something while I am running by my post collegiate self.
women's list????
Well, my son is at 1112.

Other thread bumped back to the top. Both are also linked on the front page.
So Michael Wardian ran 12 marathons in 2007? What a beast...
thanks mcgato.
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
