he was sick
Patrick, the gangbanger in the nike conversational ad at the bottom of this page, with the bandana, flashing his gang signs, was also entered and rupp was so scared that he scratched.
He was unable to locate his lucky leg wrap.
Always some excuse.
you're an ass-hole
385 people care about distance running in the United States and out of that group there are only 51 who don't regularly bash and make fun of our athletes.
it doesn't matter - the problem I have with most of you cats on Letsrun, is, most of you cats who post are dweebs, no talent or bitter folks who have never pushed the envelope, never broken 2:00 in the 800 meters but feel they have the edge on the upper echelon athlete. Man - get a life, I'm tired of hearing perspectives from guys who'll say, maybe, they'll be in Dental school next year opposed to running on the US CIRCUITS. Grow some and get some - excellence, is an aquired taste, try some time - Los
yo, Dental school pays the bills. US CIRCUITS=Living in a crappy apt for the rest of my life and NOT banging supermodels because im not as fast as galen. and btw, i dont talk shit on letsrun, never have, never will (this isnt shittalk..this is an idiom of life). but i thought i might reply. it seemed like the fun thing to do. and also, im not going to dental school, i'm going to school for physical rehabilitation. also pays the bills. GO PACKERS.
ps...breaking 2 in the 800 is not a hard thing for me. i once broke 2 in the mile. but it was never recorded.
and btw. i like that, "grow some and get some." solid expression. im stealing it.
what about kara goucher? wasn't she going to run there too?
67% of statistics are made up on the spot
82.4% of people believe them whether they are accurate statistics or not! Now, I don't know what you believe, but I do know there's no doubt. I need another double shot of some 90 proof, I got too much to think about.

Nice to see that Rupp posts on letsrun.
Rupp is a fantastic athlete.
Tough, clutch, and courageous!
speaking of dempsy indoor, did anyone see that 7'6.5" high jumnp? Shiiiiite
all this talk about rupp and nothing about will leer, a former d3 guy who went sub 4 indoors to win? come on. look at the good things in the sport. don't just bash rupp for not running because he was injured.
Leer ran great, but seemed kind of sullen after the race. Is he typically like that? If I achieved something like that, you wouldn't be able to wipe the smile off my face for days....
