It seemed that Oprah didn't cater to her, and she asked the right questions. I still don't think that Marion gets it though.

Geez is she everywhere or what? I thought that Trump was insufferable...

No, Maid Marion doesn't get it. What was with all the "everyone makes mistakes..." crap? Yes, Maid Marion, everyone makes mistakes, but you stole high glory, money, and medals from many deserving athletes.
I don't think any of us letsrunners' collective mistakes equal to the mistakes you perpetuated. That's not even considering your mail fraud or lying to federal prosecutors! Go away, please.
yeah, i agree entirely. a mistake is forgetting to take out the trash. doing performance enhancing drugs over a looong period of time to fraudulently win $$ and fame is conspiracy. clink.
First of all, who the fukk watches Oprah? And secondly, as far as what I would think of Marion Jones, well, I'd think she looks pretty good for a man.

That is precisely what I said to my wife when she asked me if I wanted to watch 'Oprah' with her: "Huh? Who the fukk watches 'Oprah' and still has a pair?" Then just as I was about to smack her down, she told me that Maid Marion was going to be on. I said "Okay." . But since it was Oprah, I had to cover my nuts the whole time.
It doesn't take much of a woman to shrink and immobilize your girlyhood, does it?
I still don't think she's been entirely candid with her use of PED's. Immediately, people want to minimize their use to what can be proven or to what is speculated and they always use the "people make mistakes" bit... F- That.
A Mistake is defined as an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness, insufficient knowledge, etc.
I'm still trying to figure out what her mistake was. She knew taking the drugs would improve her performance, she understood that taking drugs was against the rules, she completely understood the consequences, and last but not least, she was confident that she would never test positive for using them.
Mistakes and regrets are two different things, especially when you really only regret getting caught. I'm glad she got hard time, in my mind, it wasn't enough.
she was smiling the whole time. I think she doesn't have remorse, and would have done the same thing again if she had the chance.
I can't stand the fact that she gets on TV and starts smiling like she did when she lied to all us T&F fans over the years and puts on this air of "I just made a mistake". It makes me sick. Now that she claims to have no money and is headed off to jail for a few months she is already talking about using her experiences to "help" young people. Disgusting! F--k you Marion. I don't want your cheating, stealing, fake ass speaking to any kid I know. Go away forever and go lay down on a set of train tracks somewhere. Yet some people will forgive her and give her the pass. F--k that. She is nothinjg better than the shit hanging off my ass hairs.
Why in the hell would I EVER watch goddam Oprah?! For the love of all that is good, I'd sooner look at f*cking Runner's World. Yeah, Oprah was really going to probe MJ and didn't set it up as a PR move for MJ. Asking the "right questions" doesn't mean that she really wasn't "catering" to MJ. Oprah is nothing but a manipulated show, nothing that you'll see on the screen doesn't happen for a well-orchestrated reason. Just ask Ludacris.
I found her interview annoying. She showed no remorse. Everything she said was calculated to try to help her selfishness later down the line. IMO she used the Oprah show and never appologized to the relay members that she has hurt and discraced.

I believe those are called dingle berries dude.
It was another brilliant performance and nothing more. The same thing she's been doing for years. That woman is worthless and I take back everything I said about not needing to see her go to jail.

No my lost checkbook, you believed her lies, you and the track community embrace people like her. I was booed at nationals in 06 for going against her. You believed her when she said no, " I have never ever taken performance enchaining drugs." The only way she can help young people is if she stays away from the sport.

I thought she was supposed to be banged up in Prison? In the Uk if you're sentenced to do time, its starts right away - "take him down" and all that.
You certainly don't get a chance to go on TV and talk about it (and get well paid for it, no doubt)

Not only that, but they said that she has already agreed to come back on the show (for a whole show) after she gets out, to talk about her "prison ordeal".
