What do you feel are some of the best ways to use repeat 200's for a 400-800 runner?
Yesterday I did 6x200 in 28, 29, 30, 31, 28, 30, with a 60 sec. jog back across the infield. I wasn't dead after the workout, but my legs were starting to get a little tight.
My PR in the 800 is 2:09, and right now I'm probably in 2:12 shape, but I'm hoping to get closer to 2:00 by May.
Should I keep doing the 200's like this, or do you have a better suggestion? I'm also doing a few 1200's and 800's on my other days, and a few 3 mile runs through the week.
