So ive taken a few weeks off and when I started back up I had pains under both knees. I kept running on it thinking it was nothing. soon my muscles above my knees, not sure what their called, but they kept spazing. it felt like they were about to cramp up but didnt at random times. I was walking around a grocery store and they just go on for 5 seconds and go away. 5 minutes later it happens again. any help would be great.

You really need to know your leg muscles if you're going to be devoted to running. How long (of your life) have you been running? I get muscle spasms every now and then in my arms the day after I weight lift. Give it a few more days. Take some Aleve. And it's weird.
