Olympic Years usually mean the end of contracts and a change in attitudes. Which Pro runners will 2008 be the end of their career? I say Culpepper's are done. Anyone else? Khalid?

I'd say John Edwards. He's pretty much a "professional runner" by now. HAR HAR HAR!!!! HEEYYYY--OOHHHHH!!!!!
I think Lagat might if he wins a gold or two.
Browne will retire. I think that Deena only has a year or 2 left as well.
I hope that 2008 will be the last we see of Coach Vigil. This man is a legend and he now just walks around repeating the same stories. I want him to be remembered differently than todays athlete's see him.
Yeah, Vigil's only been responsible (along with Bob Larsen and Terrence Mahon) for two Olympic Marathon medals in 2004 and the current Men's Olympic Marathon Trials Champ... Shitty resume indeed.
Vigil can hang out and tell as many goddamned stories as he wants. He's earned it.
This will be AJ's last year. Bernard plans to continue until London 2012.
Sully, Tergat, Rotich.
You obviously have been believing the stories. Vigil has nothing to do with Deena since the last Olympics. He now serves the role as "interested grandpa". He never had anything to do with Meb. Out of respect, Mahon still allows Vigil to talk, and then does things his own way (which are far superior). Hall has never worked with Vigil either.
Vigil still does advise Brandon Leslie if you want to check on his current success.

Sarah Schwald, we are getting married, as long as she says yes. I am going to ask her in 15minutes, I will let you know how it turns out.
Your 15 minutes is up. Looking for an update.

WE ARE ENGAGED!!!!
merlene ottey? if she competes in bejing it will be her 8th olympics!
That is funny to hear from Adams guys. It was a huge joke amongst our team that when you beat our ass it was Vigil's doing but when we beat you guys it was Coach Martin's fault. Keep in mind that Vigil had retired 5 years before I started running. Vigil has a funny way of following success and acting like it is his. Coach Martin is usually the fall guy.
Who does Mahon call to get input?
Who is Bob Larsen's chief partner in crime?
Yeah...
Bob Larsen was involved in coaching marathoners years before Vigil. Your ignorance in the sport is phenomenal. Without Deena, Vigil has had lousy success in the marathon.
Vigil is still looking for his first sub 2:13 marathoner.
