Wow, I was impressed. Good script, acting, and production.

Omega Man was much better
i must agree with the origin poster. great movie. really like the approach with the zombies. really seemed like they had a thought process. like they were actually smart. really expanded upon 28 days/weeks later. loved it all in all.
you have got to be kidding me.
BYAHOOAHAHAH!OOAOOAHAHQOAOHAHHAOQAO!!! IM DRCIUCNKS!!!!
test
the monsters in I am Legend and the ones in 28 days/weeks later are not Zombies. Zombies die, come back to life and eat people. These things are just flesh eating freaks. They were never dead, they just catch a virus and turn into zombie like creatures who eat flesh, but they are in fact not Zombies. read The Zombie Survival Guide, its a good read.
Read the book stupid. Then let me see say you liked the movie. Damn hayseeds eat this sh*t up.
Look, don't act all smug and stuck up just cause you read the book. I didnt read the book and guess what? I dont care if its better than the movie, I dont care if there are big changes, I dont care at all. Just because you think the book is better does not mean that it was not a good movie. It does however make you annoying.
They changed big enough parts so as it was made into a completely different story. Also the movie left alot of unanswered questions like why Will Smith was immune (which they hinted to in the book). I think they should have called it something different because there were such massive discrepencies. The book as it was could not have been a good movie.
I liked both and found them entertaining.

I came to the determination years ago that a movie can never be as good as the book. They might be close, but a book has huge advantages over a movie.
However, I accept that a movie can be good on its own. I honestly had no idea "I Am Legend" was a book.
There are plenty of movies I did not like and never read the book; there are plenty of movies I liked where I read the book and they were different. For instance, I really liked "Shoeless Joe" and "Field of Dreams". Things were changed here and there, but both were enjoyable for me.
I recall reading "The Firm" and then seeing the movie. Hated the movie for a long time, but watched it recently and it was not so bad although I liked the book ending better.
The worst thing to me (and maybe Legend falls into this category) is when the movie has little resemblance to the book. The worse transgression that I know of is "Prince of Tides". I am convinced Babs never read the book nor did anyone else who worked on that movie.
I hate Space Monsters.

You are all the same person.
You just post under different names once in a while so you don't get the reputation of Flagpole Willy for posting too much.
You have been pawned.
