Here's a good one. Nick was tasered and carted away by the cops this eve at the Club Nats after party in Ohio. Don't know what the charges are, but apparently he got a bit cheeky and crossed the line with the boys in blue.

Are you serious?
Yup. Wasn't there but heard from someone on site.
From what I hear, Nick got the shaft on this one.
DON'T TASE ME BRO!!!!
What did he do to get arrested?
We don't take kindly to outsiders coming here in their fancy underwear and causing trouble. He's lucky the taser is all he got.
You guys realize that this was posted at 8:57 PM, the party hadn't really started yet. I'm calling bogus.

This was a pre-meet party.
Sounds like the cops were rough on one guy, Nick stood up for him and the cops didn't take kindly to that and Nick got himself arrested. Rough end of the stick.

Wouldn't that make it 3 hours difference (ET) if the Club Nats were in Ohio? Plus don't they roll up the sidewalks in West Chester, Ohio around 11:00pm?
I just called my friend and here's the scoop....
A girl was bet $10 that she wouldn't go in the men's bathroom and drop the heater. Well, she did!!!
So, then some girl bystanders saw this particular girl leave the men's bathroom, and dared my friend and another guy to go into the women's bathroom. Well, you guessed it, they did.
Luckily, my friend was able to jet out the opposite entrance to the bathroom from which the cops came in.
However, the other guy was tossed out of the bathroom. At this point the "Reebok" guy steps in and asked the cops to leave him alone. The Reebok guy was tossed through some doors which busted his head open. Blood was everywhere. When he stood up and asked the cops what the hell, they pulled their tasers and opened fire.
Then, Nick Rodgers steps in and says to the cops, leave him alone, he did nothing wrong, the cops then threw Nick up against the wall and arrested him.
Seems to be a lot of witnesses that saw the whole thing go down. The cops seemed to step over the line and used way too much force. All they had to do was ask the guy to leave the bathroom and everything would have been fine.
dude i was there, lots of blood. 340 miles from spokane
Also, the "Reebok" guy was taken to the hospital to get the cuts cleaned up and potentially have stitches put in.
This is nearly the same account I heard.
a good friend of mine was actually tasered as well as rogers..i am still a little confused about it all, but will post as i find out more.
I have a couple of questions. Are you sure this didn't happen before the race? For an Olympic type runner, looks like Nick bit the big one in the race. Also, was Danny Mackey involved? How long has he been triaining with those guys?
anyone else think we're missing parts of the story?
the cops just randomly tossed a guy through some doors for "asking them to leave him alone"? Not saying you're friend is necessarily guilty here, but I think we're missing some of the facts.
Does anyone know who the Reebok guy was?
what you think cops over-reacting and using their position to abuse some people is unlikely.
Hmmmm...Read the papers much.

I'm not saying it's unlikely...but for all the stories you read that makes up maybe 0.005% of what cops actually do.
They're at a party drinking and making stupid bets....I'm just wondering if we have all the facts aside from...some guy was tossed through a door unprovoked and then they started tasering people.
