So any predictions out there for this weekend's nationals, sounds like it is going to be a muddy one.

My picks Coolsaet for the guys and Metcalfe for the ladies.

nobody cares
Gotta be Bairu.
Why care?
Cause Bairu came down there and stomped all your little preppy boys, twice.
It's going to be a while before one of your Pansy Ass Americans can replicate that feat.
Respect.
Skuj for the womens win. Discuss.
Reid for sure. Afterall he has home course advantage on the Cutten Club Golf Course. I am sure Reid was not only golfing, but x-c running the course with his clubs this past week. Will Tiger Woods be running in his snowshoes? If so, watch out Reid.
Hey listen pal; the guy who wrote that is from freakin
Ontario. I know the dude personally and reckon he can't
even cross the border because of a marijuana charge from
20 years ago. He z full of angst and just likes to rock the boat; and he does not care who z boat it is. Don't pay him
any mind and don't encourage him; he quacks on attention of
which he has a large deficit. And you Americans; this puppy does not represent Canuckhood unless you were to watch the
Trailer Park Boys. (sorry Boys, the cat z not representative
of humor but is a saaaad sack).
THE 53RD STATE.
Coo roo coo coo, coo coo coo!
Bob and Doug, Canada's biggest hosers say Reid da man.
Take off Reid.
Can I get you a beer, or back bacon?
I will be living in Guelph in a few weeks.

YES! funny shit.
can't argue with the OP's picks, but I do think it'll be alot more interesting up front than most ppl are expecting, especially in the men's race...coolsaet's chances are still good, but not as sky-high as some might think...
PS Bairu's not running.
Cuz if he was he would be the OBVIOUS favourite. In the dictionary under "cross country shit-stomper" it says "see Simon Bairu".
so, I haven't quite figured out why Simon isn't running. Is he injured?
Thanks.
Darren Skuja
Gillis for the win. He already beat Reid this season in XC.
Is Nukuri running? If so she'll win Women's.
The other thread will now become the official one...
Any chance Beninger is in good xc form and racing?
