Might have cost her team deerly, too. Her team would have been in the hunt to win the meet. Too bad she couldn't still hoof it to the finish. Seriously, I hope she wasn't hurt, and can buck whatever injuries she picked up as a result.
I wonder if her teammates fawned over her.
Is there any news articles on this? That is funny. I hope she's ok though.
Ok this one is not that race, but this one has pictures.

you guys are jerks, under normal circumstances I would be laughing, but come on, she's like 14 years old at most. Things are more traumatic at that age. I hope she's alright.
now if she was in college or something, yeah go ahead make fun, but not a 14 year old.

Go eat a bowl of prunes.
Of all the crap you post around here, you pick this to turn into the conscience of letsrun?
This happened at the NESCAC championships 10 or so years ago at Bates College. The guy was in the lead pack at the time but faded a bit after that, understandably.
wtf does nbfc stand for?
oh I gotta a good one for it.
lmao.
Pa Elite Road Race (Saturday 7/21)- This past Saturday, we sent a very strong team of Colin Sandberg, Jared Babik, Mike Stubna, John Chodoff, Turner Johnson and Steve Cummings to defend our last year's Pa. Elite Road Race Championship title. Our rider Turner Johnson was in the break. Who could have predicted Turner, while in the break and was on a climb, a dog chased the group and bit Turner on the right leg. The dog didn't feel he did enough damage to us, so the dog turned around, ran uphill and bit Turner on the other leg, causing Turner to unclip and drop from the break.
Why would they actually right that in the results. Leave it at DNF or don't even list her name..idiots

The tragedy is that her younger sister is named Bambi and she has a race coming up this weekend...

Did you shoot them in the temple?
those were posted on here awhile ago too. I love the look on his face in each successive picture, and you can just see his stride opening up. Poor kid, but absolutely hilarious.
