If you have read the thread "Heel vs. Toe Running" what do you think of the POSE Method and those who run on their toes (or balls of foot) ALL THE TIME?
Any advice on form?

POSE rules
JK, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the footstrike debate as well. Someone with your knowledge of running must be able to shed some light on the subject.
Matt
Being a forefoot striker (as opposed to heel-toe) is an advantage at faster speeds. I don't see anything negative about practicing it AS LONG AS it doesn't feel unnatural or forced. It seems as people get better conditioned, they tend to run a little more on the forefoot, anyway, and don't have to consciously practice it.
On the other hand, a guy who does 11:00 per mile on his toes is about as common as a puppy climbing a tree.
After having tried the POSE method, I must say it helped my footstrike for distance running. But for sprinting it just doesn't work. You need drive the legs on speed. But for cruising paces such as the 5k up it is pretty cool. Definitely worth trying.
