Honestly I felt like gold was a little out of reach for him, it would've been more realistic if he aimed to medal but he didn't. Still, 1:41.67 will go down in history as one of the best AR's. A huge accomplishment on its own
Looks like temps were in the low 90s in Paris Saturday? I don't have the specifics on it. Does anyone know? Sundays forecast is in the 90s. Really good temps for sprinting. Anything over 90 is ideal for 99 percent of track events.
Over 90 degrees produces the most PRs for basically every track event up to the 5000.
I think all major track meets should take place in southern Texas or southern Florida in 100 degree heat and high humidity. It's the only way to be 100 percent sure of a personal record. Does anyone else agree?
Or what about indoor track meets with the heat turned on to at least 93?
