Mo Ahmed - Tripped on the foot of the runner in front of him. No grounds for protest.
Abdihamed Nur - Fell from tying up. Probably had enough time to settle down for another kick, but he panicked and fell in the style of Siffan Hassan. No grounds for protest.
George Mills & Company - With miles of space available, Hugo Hay raised his right arm to protect his space (fine) but then leaned right and shoved Mills like a bowling ball into the other pins. Mills & Company have grounds for qualifying through protest.
Hugo Hay - Heat of the moment shove, but a rubbing is racing style incident that can't be linked to him knowingly gaining an advantage. No grounds for DQ.
Camera Man on the track - An olympic embarassment. Should be drawn and quartered in the public square or have his credentials revoked and be sent to racewalking, whichever is worse.
Failures (strategy, injury, fatigue, other):
Morgan McDonald - Left it too late in a dream heat that put qualification on a platter for him
Ben Flannigan - Fell asleep at the back of a sleepy heat and didn't have the legs to re-engage when the burnup happened.
Jimmy Gressier - Did top much leading, plus all the 10,000m guys looked like their legs were toast from the hard track. bumped ironically by Hay who was the shover.
Luis Grijalva - Looked all out of sorts the whole race, but especially in the final 800. Possible injury or illness?
Stewie McSweyn - Was just middling the whole time, probably needed to run his "final" today up with the front just to progress, but chose the energy conservation route like everyone else and paid the price.
