I’ll be running a half marathon in a few months and I know I won’t run that fast at it. I’m planning to train through it though and do a full marathon within a year. My training has been sporadic but I thought some people might be interested in this sort of thing as I’m very slow but used to be kinda fast. I also used to run a decent amount of mileage and plan to ramp it up pretty quickly. The obvious risk being injury but I’ll have a good amount of very slow miles in there. I’ll be posting weekly on here and will be interested in others in a similar situation or that have some input.
