I read that the Afro-American population is close to 42 million, whilst the Afro-Carribean population in the UK is around 600,000. I guess you could bring that up to a million if you factor in all the Carribean born sprinters who end up competing for Britain. But still, when you look at the numbers, the UK produces far more world class sprinters than you would expect. Without looking up the stats for Canada, I guess the same could be said for them too.

But isn’t anyone black just counted in the US census as “black”? e.g. Kenyans and Ethiopians
