Yes I realize this is probably splitting hairs. Was wondering tho whether there are any studies on the comparative effectiveness (for injury prevention, performance, etc) of a slow, abbreviated run vs a complete day off. If there is not research that folks are aware of, maybe we could do an informal study here: which do you prefer and why?
Personally I like a short run to maintain some muscle tension and because I am neurotic as hell, but eager to hear others' thoughts. Thanks to any and all who comment (earnestly)!
