No one knows.Just try it out and see what difference you get.
The Norwegian thread would recommend 3 20 min sessions instead of 2 30 min sessions over a week. Same reason running a 2 x 6mi double is easier than a 12 mi single. The idea is a lower load on the body / more spread out over the week.
