Swimming, easy.

Look at the skinny, frail, doped up bodies of runners and cyclists versus the chad, big shoulders, long arms, ripped bodies of swimmers.
Swimming but only because the water is sometimes cool, CrossFit is the coolest sport.
Running. Next question.
Thinking back to when I was a kid (a kid's is the best judge of cool) and before I done any of those as a competitive sport, I'd say cycling, then running, and swimming last.
Swimming is the most boring to watch, and I only watched it during the Olympics because I tried to watch all the Olympic sports as a kid. I don't watch it in the Olympics now anymore. I took swimming lessons as a kid because it's what everyone did and I was fortunate enough to have a swimming pool in the back yard but had zero interest in doing it competitively. Outside of maybe the Olympics where they have cameras underwater, it's not spectator friendly at all. Not cool.
Running races caught my imagination before I ever ran a race. I remember seeing a still photo of Mary Decker winning of the two races she won at the '83 World Championships in a magazine in the library, and I thought it was really cool.
As a boy, I like cars and bikes, so bike racing was automatically cool. It's flashy, fast, but the athletic effort is much more exciting than watching car racing. In the early '80s, there was nothing more I wanted to watch than the 1-hour (maybe 2-hour?) recaps of the Tour de France on the weekends.
Swimming gets pretty cool because it's in water.
But then cycling can be quite cool if it rains and you're going fast downhill.
But then again, running can get even cooler if you do it in the snow.
I don't care what normies think is cool.

None of them. The coolest sport by far is bikini golf.

Cycling because you can spend obscene amounts of money on it, or blame your equipment because you didn’t.
