Given the current success of runners worldwide via the double tempo model and focus on threshold running in general, does anyone think the lack of success of the uk runners in mid-90’s was because of a focus on track sessions…. Horwill theory would call for 5 track sessions every 10 days - even in winter. That theory might have worked for coe - but would argue negative impact on uk running scene overall.
