I’m going into my junior year of high school, and I have no one to run with. I understand that some people have no problem running alone, but I’ve never had to do a lot of running alone. I was a mediocre freshman runner, but improved a ton over my sophomore year, and became the best on the team. There was a senior who wasn’t far behind me in times, so we could still run together and do some workouts together. Now, I’m significantly ahead of the rest of the team. I’ve always dreaded runs I’ve had to do alone and without my teamates, so I need some advice. What are some ways I can start to enjoy running alone, and does anyone have any tips for pushing myself when I’m totally alone?
