I'm going into my freshman year at a school in Minnesota after running 9:15 and 4:17 in high school. Goal is to run under 25:30 on an 8k this fall but I want to hear from current/ex college runners, not just the generic answers on websites. Im slowly building up to 60 miles a week. My easy runs are at 7:10-7:00, hills and strides during the week, and a long run. Anything important to know to be a consistent 25min 8k runner? Mileage? Key workouts? Obviously consistency is huge but I just want to see what college runners have to say.
