I’m currently a 28min 5k runner and am running 20 miles a week with a 6 mile long run. I’ve recently added strides to the end of my easy runs. I run my 6 miles progressive, running the last 2 miles at 9.10 min per mile pace. I do a threshold run at 9.30 min per mile pace. I run 4x1 mile @ 9 min per mile pace with 2 minutes recovery. I’m very new to training and don’t think I can manage any more mileage at the moment without getting injured. Are there any workouts that I could do that would help me dip under 25 minutes for 5k?
