Just got knee tendonitis again, my plan is calling for tempo + 4x200s, can I replace this with tempo + 3x heavy trap deadlifts

Don't know about injury prevention from this, but you won't get trained for efficiency at speed. If you're trying to build speed, I think short stuff with full recovery might be what trap bar DL would be subbing for, and I don't know whether or not it's a good substitute.
