Everyone is talking about Herriman and AF again but I think they are completely wrong. Cooper Bybee ran extremely quick at the Freedom run this year and the rest of the team did as well. I think its obvious that they'll be challenging Herriman even tho they got two transfers. Lone peak doesn't need transfers to be good, we already got millions of Bybees to carry us. As well as Ty Palmer who ran 4:24 at BYU, our team is gonna be crazy this year. Just wait till NXN 😤
With the two transfers...Herriman has like 5 of the top 9 returners for their classification...And Soles has proved he can get guys to improve off of JV

Herriman time trial
Lone Peak will absolutely dominate Girls 6A and get an automatic qualifier to NXN.
Herriman time trial 2024 vs 2023 results:
'24 -> 12:16, 12:25, 12:31, 12:56, 12:59, (13:00), (13:03)
1-5 avg -> 12:37, 1-7 avg -> 12:44, 1-5 gap -> 43s, 1-7 gap -> 47s
'23 -> 12:13, 12:37, 12:38, 12:51, 12:59, (13:06), (13:07)
1-5 avg -> 12:39, 1-7 avg -> 12:47, 1-5 gap -> 46s, 1-7 gap -> 54s
That’s what happens when you take the national champions with a great coach and then allow other great runners to transfer
The transfers also might have helped the non-transfers on the team get better than they would have without the transfers
Herriman girls team is really small compared to the boys team
I’d bet you’d find That’s the case with almost every team. Coach for 25 years of a very successful girls team and our girls team has dropped from 25-30 down to 10’ish the last decade. Girls (and their parents) would rather be a bench warmer on a horrible soccer team than on a very good XC team.

Why even post something like this and why are you posting this here?
Tullyrunners national rankings
Kaden Evans - 22
Jonah Tang - 23
Kyle Steadman - 24
Steel days 5k
American Fork was missing their top 6 (Evans, Plewe, Moore, Bement, Williams, Harrington), but if it’s any indication, it’s that:
- American Fork is deep again even after graduating so much talent
- They have a very solid freshman class this year.
What is the course like for Steel Days?
Even if it's a fast road race, that freshman class is already among the best, and the season hasn't even started.
16:35, 16:50, 17:19, 18:10, 18:28, 18:31, 19:10, 19:59
Herriman is deep again this year like last year
AF and Herriman look ridiculous again this year. It's crazy that in such a competitive XC state there aren't any other contenders.
At NXN nationals, Herriman, Niwot, and American Fork could go 1-2-3.
Tullyrunners preseason national team rankings will be coming out in a few days. I wonder how many Southwest teams will be in the top 30. There’s gonna be a lot for sure.
On the NXN day, so many top SW teams will be either sitting at home or participating in RunningLane
