I am a college d-2 runner. I had a stress reaction of my fibula confirmed on 5/3/24 with MRI. I stopped running on it 4/29. Had been experiencing ankle pain for a few weeks prior but trained through it and did a 10k track race. I’ve been seeing PT doing strength and cross training on elliptical with no pain walking or cross training. Followed up w Dr 6/24. Attempted to start walk run plan this week. First day ran 3 min off 30 sec for 2 miles. Ok. Took 1 Day off then next day tan 5 min felt discomfort and stopped. Do I take more time off??? Cross train only???
