Back in the day I used to be a real athlete: I ran xc and track, did long jump, played soccer, pickup basketball with friends, ultimate frisbee games after practice, and a bunch of other stuff. By most standards, I wasn't good at any of that (and I was really terrible at basketball) but man did I have fun and stay active with all of that! Now, I honestly just run and sometimes lift weights. Getting older sucks but I know some of you out there are doing a lot more to not just be runners but to be true running athletes! Love to hear what you do in addition to your running that you think keeps you fit and firing, especially if you're getting up there in age!
