I was injured for a long time and I started running again. I have less than month left of season. But i just got somewhat fit. I didnt do any base phase or something like that i just started running and doing workouts and now I realized that I lost a ton of speed with the injury. I would like to get it back. I run the 800/possibly the 1500. Can i start doing weights/ plyos now? Which ones? Im tired of doing pushups, planks and core from youtube. I can run a 2:0x 800 currently. My mileage is low because of injury think 18-20mpw.
