James Corrigan of BYU who finished third in the trials 3k steeple is going to attempt to run the 8:15 Olympic standard later today at the Penn Relays Summer Showcase #3. Even with the recent bump in prize money and ranking bonus, James’s best bet of making it to Paris is if he runs the standard. Per his Instagram, it seems that FloTrack will be streaming the meet on their website as well as YouTube. Hope that is true and we can watch the race for free. Couldn’t find live results but I’m sure there are some. you can hear more about the details from Ed Eyestone at the end of a workout video filmed a couple days ago . Rooting for James! Would be an awesome story if he can make the team.
