It's becoming more evident with each passing year that Centrowitz reined during a weak era of milers and really a weak era of distance running on the track overall

Look at the PB’s of the milers/1500m guys he beat in Rio.
Probably all-time fastest final crew.
He out-kicked a 1500m gold medalist, a 1:43 dude.
kiprop ran 3:26, you dimwit
One of the worst takes I’ve ever seen on this site, and that’s saying something.
2016 Centro would’ve forced this years trials into a 3:40 race and walked Nuguse and Hocker like small dogs on the last lap.
I know this is a troll thread, but Centro has a legitimate case for being the best tactical runner of all-time.

That was quite possibly the best tactically excellent race I've seen 57 years of watching this sport.
In the fall of 2022, who had a better xc season, the Young twins or Aaron Sahlman. Sahlman was the victor in only one race and was no better than 3rd on his team all season……but won NXN.
SAHLMAN had a better year or even xc career than the boys that looked the same. Centro had a better career than Hocker has at this point. When Hocker wins a gold medal, then maybe! actually, I predict he will win in Paris.

This is an obvious troll but honestly, Centrowitz will never be surpassed most likely as the greatest American miler.
Really funny to read this take and remember that Centro's PRs at 1500/800 are faster than Hocker's. The way people talk about him here sometimes you'd think he didn't stand a chance in a race faster than 3:35.

Not sure why you need to put Centro 50.62 and Mo 50.49 (5k) on a pedestal in their last 400m kicks. Have you not had enough of them tainting our child-like appreciation and love for the sport of distance???? So what they pass all their urine tests???? As if it matters at all???
What's the definition of objectivity may I ask you???? Can you answer me????
Mentioning any name from the list of Salazar, Mo, Galen, Centro, and to a lesser extent Dathan (who seems to be less acquiescent to doping) causes me a kind of brain ischemia already!!!!!
These folks are some of the most dissembling human beings I ever known in the sport of distance.

Yes Centro without drugs is obviously better than Hocker without drugs. Isn't that so predictable bruh??
3G/4G era in 2016 is slightly more healthy for high performance distance sport than 4G/5G in 2021-2024, so for Centro to finish his career in a much higher achievement and PB standing than Hocker is so easy to predict that even a 1 year old baby would sense that duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now lets bring drugs into the equation. Since both were most definitely on drugs, Centro would still finish his career better than Hocker finishes his since the independent variable isn't drugs since both used drugs but rather telecommunications' anthropogenic RF intensity and exposure.

Don't try to throw dirt on my little homie name. Thats on Hoover, slime, yuh feel me? Check the resume of Rio Olympians and the FAX that Matt broke the mold. Don't just be out here writing ish just to write it. Get your facts straight.
Another denial-of-service attack poster. Disappointing.
Yea Centro has had the better career by every single metric so far.
Hocker can probably close that gap though. He will probably have quicker PRs but will benefit from the super shoes in training and racing. He needs more medals which will be tougher to come by.
Let’s remember Hocker got out kicked by a steepler this winter.
1/10. nothing clever or believable
