That was obvious weeks ago.
Post the link next time.
This was obvious after the season after she ran 10.54. she was never getting remotely close to that again.
Yeah needing to get carried off the track a month before one of the most competitive national trials in the world was never gonna be a good sign. I would have been very surprised to see her even make the team with people like the Clayton twins and Krystal Sloley on the rise.
I expect a retirement within the next year - I think trying to defend her Olympic title was pretty much what was keeping her going at this point.
she’s already 32… though SAFP managed to medal at 36/37 so I suppose it’s possible
Did God really text her? Is it an iMessage or SMS - would love to know if they use android or Apple
apparently you get his number once you become an olympian champion

Darn shame. Her season never got underway.
Elaine looked promising at the very end of 2023. I wanted to believe she could win the Paris 100. Her age and the questionable coaching decision allowed me to realize it was probably not going to happen.
Double double is not too bad. She's the Simon Ammann of track and field.
Good riddance, doper. Will any of Jamaicas dope queens run anything like they have been until this year or is their chemical dominance finally over?

You must be new here?
Her leaving MVP was the beginning of the end.
How SAFP was able to run her fastest times for an entire season at mid 30s is something I still do not understand. Right up there with Gatlin running faster when he was older and apparently not on PEDs than he ever did when he was younger and on PEDs. The Lord sure move in mysterious ways...
So very sorry to hear this. She is a brilliant sprinter. One of the best the world has ever seen.
On a serious note, why are people so lazy to type the second "s"?
IS this a form of being funny here?
I don't think she was even going to medal.
America has some serious gals. Jefferson is a piece of work and the US could get two medals here. This is Sha'Carri's to lose.

Many of them are getting older. Elaine and shelly anne both need to retire.
she should not have been drinking
