Our day 4 US Olympic Trials live reaction show will go live at 11pm eastern and we'll break down the 1500 final between Yared Nuguse and Cole Hocker, plus At...
Holloway looked extremely calm in that heat, looks like a man on a mission, could be in for something special this year, potentially a world record with good wind.
He must be confident if he’s doing that in the 1st round. World record on watch?
Funny thing is, he has a history of blasting super fast first rounds times, and leaving it close in the final.
I think he actually gets out too fast in some finals and he is running up in later hurdles, having to chop a bit, and everyone is catching back up to him.

Grant is one of my favorite athletes. I think the WR is always on when he races.
That being said, I think it was the classic Grant race. Amazing until the last 2-3 hurdles.
I'll repeat what I said to Jon on the podcast. If Grant doesn't win gold this year, he absolutely must change coaches. I've had a top hurdle guy tell me exactly what he'd have Grant do in practice to learn how to attack the final 40 meters.

Holloway and Coleman are very similar. Great starters who crater a bit at the end.
There's a reason the men's 1500 final is the warmup event for the steeple prelims and two other more compelling distance finals tonight: Jakob/Yared/Josh with a splash of Jake/Tim is the only interesting dish in 2024. Nuguse well clear, Hocker safely in 2nd with a JV scrum in tow? Ain't nobody got time for that.

Not the same. Grant has trouble at the end because he is too fast and runs up on the hurdles.
