For starters I'm in my mid fifties ( 56), so I'm not going to break the world record. I really don't see the point in trying to lose a lot of weight so I can run some crappy time. I would like to look good for the ladies. I'm just trying not to become a big fat slob. So I exercise at least a little bit every day. I've let my girlfriend know that I am putting applications out there for other women, so it's no secret. Should I start trying to lose the weight and look like a runner again or keep an extra 30 lb on me so I look like a fit guy. There's nothing worse than a skinny frail dude in his mid-50s who's running crappy times, and pissing away all his money and time so he can get beat by teenage and pre teen girls in the local 5k.
