The dude fought like hell, and looked he had been hurting from 4K to go. He definitely gave way more than anyone around him, and it was inspiring to see him give the 10K a go after being so locked in on the 1500 for years. That’s no easy jump.
I hope he enjoys a few races this fall with his recent breakthrough in fitness and consistent training.
Best 3 made the team. I wonder if things would have worked out differently for him under different training circumstances. So much talent. He is still very young so good luck to him.

God bless you, Drew!
I think folks that see a 3:35 13;08 guy run like that? And trash him? Should be ashamed of themselves
Outside of the top 3 who qualified, the two guys i came away from tonight with the most respect for were Hunter and Colley. At least they made an effort to cover or make every move until the end.
Guy ran his heart out. Looked like a mess doing it too.
It’s really not good that everyone is saying “he ran the race of his life,” while running an even-paced 27:53. It’s 1:20 slower than Grant’s PR, and 1:00 slower than Nico’s.
Wish Grant was wearing a heart monitor. Good tune up for the 5K I guess.

Understand your point, but a race is a race in the end, if that makes any sense. the hard thing still comes no matter what you did the previous 25 minutes, and mentally you have to tell your stupid legs to shutup and follow that guy that just inched away. Case in point, Mantz is stupid fit but the sharp end of a 10000m came and only 4 guys (well, 1 then 3) were in it.
