Sorry to everyone having this issue.

If you are having a problem with reloading or crashing please email refresh@letsrun.com

1) Just note the timestamp it happened at (or just say right now) and the page you were on and your username.

2) Then try and not reload that page for a few minutes.

I have a fairly new iPhone 14 and enjoy perusing the forums with a cup of coffee in the morning before work. This morning, I could not even open a thread. It has been really bad for a while with the page reloading 3x times per minute and the "recurring error" message that pops up 25% of the time, but it is 100% unusable on mobile now. Maybe it is the new pop-ups? Are they doing something more in the background?

Just want the brojos to know...

I am totally in support of you getting that bag, but if we can't even use the site, you won't get any views or visits.

It’s the coffee. The site doesn’t work well with a clear focused mind. Try it with mushrooms or something.

They need to re-work the site and optimize it for mobile. If not, LRC isn't going to be around much longer or will limp along with a core clientele of senior citizens still using PCs to view it.

Replying to a post is so difficult I don't even bother on my phone anymore. I have the newest google pixel (8 Pro).

On my laptop now and I keep getting pop up ads that cover the entire screen.

Yeah the ads are bad enough, but the webpage reloading every 10 seconds absolutely drives me nuts. Tried on several different browsers, assumed Chrome would be the best, but it seemed even worse than Safari.

Works great on mobile - one of the fastest loading sites tbh*

*Must use adblocker. 1blocker + safari = usable

Yeah, if you have to do all of that to make a site stable and usable, then it's on death's door.

Seriously, I hope the owners either have a plan to overhaul the site to make it usable on mobile OR that they have made all the money they need and are prepared to sail into the sunset.

If I have EVER seen a site that is vulnerable to be made obsolete and to be abandoned by its users when a reasonable competitor enters the space, it is this one.
